Donna and her husband moved to Bicester in 2014 after he left the RAF. They have one son who attends Longfields Primary School and 3 dogs who often feature on her Facebook page. She was elected as the Treasurer for North Oxford Conservative Federation in August 2024.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Donna, like many of us, re-evaluated what was important to her and what she was passionate about and decided that it was her son’s future and the future of the town in which she lives. Donna, therefore, stood for election in order to give something back and help shape the local area.
She was elected as the County Councillor for Bicester North Division in May 2021. Since then she has been an active representative for her constituents. She secured funding to extend the E1 bus service, has vocally campaigned against Oxfordshire County Council's plans to convert the Banbury Road roundabout into a crossroad and put forward proposals for a splash park in Garth Park.
In addition to being a County Councillor, Donna also represents the Bicester East Ward on both Cherwell District Council and Bicester Town Council and is a governor of a local primary school.
