Great news announced today that Conservative-led Oxfordshire County Council has secured over £7 million to tackle local potholes.
With a harsh winter followed by a sizzling summer impacting the condition of the local road network, the County Council has dealt with more than 23,000 potholes since January 2018. This is up 64% from last year and equates to fixing an average of over 3900 potholes a month.
The extra funding, which will arrive in time for winter, will provide an important cash injection that will help improve the condition of Oxfordshire roads to keep drivers and cyclists safe.
