On Sunday 9 May, local politicians gathered at Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury for the results of the Oxfordshire County Council, Cherwell District Council and Banbury Town Council elections. After a very different, and sometimes difficult, campaign, it was a decidedly mixed outcome for the Conservatives in Oxfordshire. In North Oxfordshire, we lost one County seat to the Liberal Democrats in Otmoor but we maintained our position on Cherwell District Council and increased our majority on Banbury Town Council by one seat. We also won the Bicester Town Council by-election. Full results of all local seats can be found below:
