On Friday 4 May, local politicians gathered at Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury for the results of the Cherwell District Council elections. In a ringing endorsement of a positive local campaign, North Oxfordshire Conservatives gained one seat from the Independent in Bicester South and Ambrosden with our excellent candidate Lucinda Wing. We were saddened to lose a stalwart campaigner and Councillor in Alastair Milne Home who has been a dedicated representative of Banbury residents for the past 12 years - his contributions to our Group and town will be sadly missed. Across the rest of North Oxfordshire from the Sibfords to Adderbury, Deddington and the Heyfords, Conservative candidates held seats. Full results of all local seats can be found below:
