Victoria Prentis selected as Parliamentary Candidate

Victoria Prentis was selected as the new Parliamentary Candidate for North Oxfordshire following a meeting of local members today.

"I am thrilled to have been selected to be the PPC for North Oxfordshire. It is always an honour to be selected as a PPC, but even more so in my home town. Sir Tony will be a very hard act to follow, but I'm looking forward to getting stuck into the campaign, and meeting the voters."
Victoria Prentis, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for North Oxfordshire

Victoria has stated that her three top priorities are:

  • Planning - Supporting Cherwell District Council in delivering sustainable development in appropriate locations. She said that "the 'plan' needs to be put back in planning, but alongside this the correct infrastructure must be delivered to meet local needs".
  • Healthcare - An unwavering commitment to protecting and promoting the essential services provided by the Horton General Hospital; and fighting for additional support for Bicester Community Hospital.
  • Older People - Delivering support and care to older people in our community with compassion and ensuring they continue to feel part of their local areas. Encouraging the provision of specialist care for those suffering from dementia and similar conditions.
